Doctors at the Odense University Hospital refrained from operating a 65-year-old woman with pancreatic cancer, noting as a reason in her medical journal that she was ‘slightly retarded’.
Six months later, the woman was re-admitted to hospital in a serious condition, with her cancer having spread so much that it was not possible to operate. She died six months later.

Danish Race Intelligence Professor Accused Of Dishonesty
I can’t. I swear I can’t. via Racism Daily:
Controversial former Aarhus University developmental psychologist and “intelligence researcher” Helmuth Nyborg is once again being charged with scientific dishonesty. This time for claiming that immigrants are lowering Denmark’s IQ average.
The article, published in April in the British journal ‘Personality and Individual Differences’, presents a statistical model for how average IQ levels in Denmark will fall steadily over the years as a direct result of immigration from what Nyborg called “low IQ countries”.
Of course, the guy is not just an Eurocentric, White Supremacist, racist, he also seems to have plagiarized part of his research (further proof that he is obviously not alone in these beliefs). More at the link.

I know a few people who would be devastated if Marmite was banned around these parts.
Media depictions of people who do not conform to stereotypical versions of gender are rare. So, imagine how my heart warmed up when I saw Danish X Factor’s contestant Sarah. AfterEllen just mentioned her in one of their posts, saying that the 15 year old is an out lesbian who also rocks in her performances. I have to agree. She is quite amazing.
